By the way, you don't always need skis for this. Merano 2000 is also perfect for tobogganing. You can either take the cable car or walk up to Piffing. A 3 km long natural toboggan run leads down from there, winding through the snow-covered winter forest and ending right in front of our hotel. Also on the doorstep is the 5 km long cross-country ski trail, which is prepared for both classic cross-country skiing and skating.

And of course Merano 2000 is also perfect for winter hiking: A dense network of hiking trails stretches across the entire area, whose snowy forests and snow-covered alpine meadows can also be explored wonderfully on snowshoes. Ski tourers are also welcomein Merano 2000, as there are well-signposted trails for them to use during the ski area's operating hours.

We offer you the opportunity to take part in a guided snowshoe hike every week! You can also take part in a free tobogganing course on Merano 2000, where you can learn tobogganing tips from a professional. In addition, there is a cross-country skiing course twice a week to learn diagonal stride, cornering and braking in classic style.
